The role

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will help to ensure that our product excels. You’ll work closely with the rest of the engineering team to tackle complex technical challenges and build solutions that can handle the unique demands of a crypto wallet app. 

Core responsibilities

• Document tricky areas in the codebase and teach your team how to navigate them, making complex challenges manageable and understandable.
• Keep an eye on real-world performance metrics and work to improve our standing in app stores, ensuring users have a seamless, enjoyable experience.
• Ensure the web app runs smoothly across a wide range of devices and maintains stability even when the data isn’t perfect.
• Champion best practices, helping the team ship features faster without sacrificing quality.
• Structure the codebase and app components in a way that allows automated testing to thrive, ensuring high-quality releases.

What We’re Looking for in You

• 5+ years of web development experience, including at least 4 years working with React.
• You’re deeply familiar with React architecture and comfortable using TypeScript/JavaScript in complex applications.
• You have a strong understanding of web standards and how to implement them effectively.
• You understand secure storage, encryption, and OWASP best practices, ensuring the app is as secure as it is user-friendly.
• You know how to profile and optimize performance, especially when handling large amounts of data.
• You’re skilled at structuring codebases in a way that multiple teams can contribute effectively and without chaos.
• Experience building and maintaining pipelines for automated builds, tests, and smooth release processes.
• You’re proficient at managing libraries and keeping everything clean in Git.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Familiarity with AWS, Firebase, or similar services.
• Experience with agile processes, including sprints, standups, and iterative development.
