Your responsibilities would be…
- Conceptualize, design and art direct beautiful, modern, responsive user interfaces for websites, mobile apps and wearable devices;
- Create and rapidly iterate on ideas in order to develop them, via user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, or other methods as needed;
- Work with product managers to define/refine and to convert concepts into easily-understandable interfaces;
- Create user-centered designs by considering customer feedback and usability findings (usability and A/B tests);
- Recommend and manage UI/UX design strategy for websites and applications;
- Follow our visual brand guidelines, art direction, and collaborate with other designers as necessary;
- Deliver finalized, full fidelity designs to implementation/engineering teams.
Desired skills and experience
- 3+ years as a website and mobile UI/UX Designer;
- A strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables;
- Solid knowledge of UI and UX practices and current competitive trends in UI design (Material Design, iOS Human Interface Guidelines);
- Ability to create detailed spec sheets, mockups, and final assets for development;
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and other industry software packages (Sketch);
- Experience developing in code is a plus;
- Experience leading usability studies;
- Creative, ambitious, and driven, with an uncompromising attention to detail;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Start-up experience preferred or a self-starter approach to work:
- The ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, and multi-task in an agile environment.
